Hey guys, this a project i finished up a little while ago. I started with amt's '27 police car. The kit is a pheaton but I shortened up the body into a pickup. The mods I made are the body, a master cylinder with lines, scratch built exhaust, updated steering with a '68 Dart steering box. i moved the arms to the frame, this was a common improvment. I used the kits duel over head cam set up for more horsepower but wanted the stock style exhaust without the down-draft carb. I also added a piano hinge to the hood so it could fold up. The hinge came from a 1/32 diecast '31 chevy.
